Ms. Kim is from the US, where she obtained her BA in German from Southeast Missouri State University. She has since completed her teacher certification through the University of West Florida and is certified to teach K-6, as well as English as a foreign language. Ms. Kim has taught in Asia since 2012, most recently at an IB kindergarten in Hangzhou where she gained 2 years of PYP experience and training. She is excited to join the Early Years Team at Hanova.

Ms. Jessie, originally from the USA, has her BS in Elementary Education from Augsburg University (USA). She is certified to teach Elementary through to Grade 12, with a middle school and high school license in Social Studies. Ms. Jessie taught at a local Chinese school for 2 years in Hangzhou before teaching Kindergarten (Year 1) at Hangzhou International School for 3 years. During her time in Hangzhou, she gained experience in the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and the Jolly Phonics Program. Most recently, Ms. Jessie taught first grade (Year 2) at an extremely diverse public school in Minnesota, USA for the past 2 years. Ms. Jessie passionately believes in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for young learners and instilling a love of learning from the very beginning of their educational careers. She joins the Hanova community with her husband and their newborn daughter.

Mrs. Crockford taught Early Years and Key Stage 1 (from 3 – 8 years old) in the UK for 18 years where she obtained a Bachelor of Honours from the University of Leicester and a Distinction in postgraduate diploma from the University of Oxford. She has been subject leader for many subjects, as well as School Council Link Teacher, Head of Early Years and Head of After School Clubs, acquiring experience of supervision and mentoring to other members of staff. She has held many workshops to train teachers as well as Chinese Teachers who attended a two weeks teacher-training course sponsored by the Chengdu Education Bureau in China. She recently taught in multi-cultural schools in the UK, China and UAE and has now returned to China to join Hanova.

Ms. Andrea is a qualified educator with 20 years of experience teaching in elementary, middle and high schools, as well as language programs for children and adults. She has lived in Colombia, Mexico and the U.S, where she had the privilege to work in bilingual, American and immersion schools.
She majored in Foreign languages Teaching in English and French from Universidad de Antioquia (Colombia), and holds a Master's Degree in TESOL from Greensboro College (USA).

Mrs. Camilletti is a qualified PYP teacher from Italy. She has been teaching for more than 15 years in Italy and in various other countries including United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and China. She holds a Diploma in Education (certified to teach primary curriculum grades K-6), and an Honours Degree in Law. She is married to David English and rejoins us as a Year 2 Homeroom teacher.

Ms. Vejvodova hails originally from the Czech Republic where she gained BSc from College of Industrial Chemistry before training as an Early Years and Primary teacher in India and the UK. She has Diplomas in Pre-Primary and Primary with specialisation in Teaching English as well as in Montessori training. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Comprehensive Management of Children with Learning Disorders from College of Communication and Management in India. She has nearly 15 years of teaching experience in international schools in India and Ethiopia.

Mrs Beverley Caddington is a highly experienced educator within the IB Primary Years Program, joining us from Germany where she was Vice-Principal of the International school of Westpfalz focusing on the development of this new school and its curriculum. She taught Years 5/6 as a class teacher as well as being responsible for the leadership and management of the school.
Mrs Caddington has been an international educator for 16 years having previously held leadership posts in the UK, within the field of Special Education. She has worked in Italy, Spain, Slovakia and in Germany, but this is her first exploration of Asia. Since becoming an international teacher she has utilized her skills in a variety of teaching areas but most recently as an SEN teacher and EAL coordinator. She has a passion for pastoral care of students having previously held posts as Pastoral Leader in Bratislava and Principal in Italy.
Miss Beverley holds a Masters degree from Oxford UK as well as a Bachelors degree and an advanced diploma in Special Needs. She is looking forward to developing her role at Xian Hanova International School and exploring Asia.

Sierra is looking forward to her seventeenth year in education as she joins us at Xi’an Hanova International School. For the past three years she has lived and taught abroad, two years in the United Arab Emirates and one year in Beijing. Being part of the international teaching community has given her many wonderful experiences!

Mr. Haigh is originally from Canada and calls the south-west region of Ontario home. He has a Bachelor degree in History from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor degree in Education from Brock University. Hanova is the fifth International School he has taught at, having made stops in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanchang, and Seoul before arriving here. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Haigh worked in the education department of a municipal museum for 10 years coordinating visits by local school children.

Mr B is from Bristol, England. He has a degree in Archaeology from Bradford University and a Masters in Primary Teaching from Melbourne University. He has taught for over 16 years all over the world, including in South Korea, Singapore, Australia and Indonesia. His passions outside of the classroom are football, reading, travelling and eating. In the classroom Mr B's passions are shared reading time, P.E., teaching maths strategies and modelling lifelong learning.

Mrs Rice hails from USA, but lives in Xi’an with her husband and four children. She gained her BSc in Elementary Education from Northland International University, WI (USA). She has taught children from 2 to 18 years old for more than 15 years in various community programmes, focusing on the full primary programme for five of those years as a trained PYP teacher. She returned to Hanova in January 2015 and was originally one of the founding teachers.

Trish Scott is from New Zealand where she has taught at all levels of primary education. She has held positions of Classroom Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Deputy Principal and Principal. She gained her Bachelor of Education in Teaching and Learning at Victoria University in Wellington. With over 30 years’ teaching and leadership experience, she has taught across several schools in New Zealand and England. Trish started her international teaching career at an IB World School in Almaty, Kazakhstan as a classroom teacher, Deputy PYP Co-ordinator and Principal of the Primary section of the school. She was in Kazakhstan for 7 years before moving to Portugal in 2015 as PYP Coordinator at a school near Lisbon. Trish is looking forward to working in Xi’an and being part of the Hanova school community.
