Christmas Lightning Ceremonies at Hilton Xi’an High-tech Zone

On Saturday, 10th June, the Hanova community hosted its annual Spring Carnival! The day began with Carnival games, crafts, face painting and some live music followed by an amazing lunch catered by several local hotels and also provided by our parents and staff. In the afternoon, our talented students participated in the “Hanova Talent Show!” We thank all of our students, teachers, staff, the Xi’an community and Xi’an’s local businesses for their outstanding contributions to this day. We are excited to announce that all of the proceeds (over 20,000 RMB!) were donated to a Xi’an local charity – the Yellow River Soup Kitchen.
On Friday, 19th May, Hanova’s primary students performed the play “Charlotte Holmes: Future Detective.” Teachers, parents and other primary students were in the audience enjoying their performance!
On 20th January, Hanova’s primary students celebrated Chinese New Year with a variety of in-class festivities – which included art projects, fun Chinese crafts and preparing and enjoying traditional Chinese dumplings.
On Thursday, 8th December, Hanova’s Primary students performed a wonderful Winter Concert, consisting of a musical journey through several countries to present how people celebrate Christmas around the World.
On Saturday 3rd December, Hanova hosted its Second Annual Christmas from 10:00am to 1:30pm! The day was full of great Christmas fun, lots of Christmas activities, games and crafts and an auditorium full of local vendors selling holiday baked goods, desserts, imported food and hand-crafted gifts.
On Friday, 3rd June, Hanova’s Secondary students proudly presented an original drama production – “Can You Hear Us? A Refugee Story.” The students acted out a dramatic collection of refugee stories from around the world.
On Friday, 29th January, Hanova’s primary students put on an impressive song and dance performance to celebrate Chinese New Year 2016. We thank all of our students, parents, teachers and the Chinese department for all of their hard work. All of the class performances were outstanding!
On 9th and 10th December 2015, Hanova’s PYP students put on a festive and very impressive performance! Parents, friends and guests were smiling and laughing through the sounds of holiday cheer.
