On Wednesday, 31st October, the Hanova’s staff, students and parents celebrated Halloween with a costume parade, special decorations, candy & treats, crafts and games! Our primary students paraded through the classrooms in the morning showing off their costumes and being rewarded with treats. The secondary students finished the day with a special assembly to give “best costume” awards and play games together.Details
On Friday, 26th October, our staff, students and parents participated in Hanova’s annual International Day to celebrate our school’s cultural diversity! The celebration began with a flag parade. Groups of teachers and students proudly carried their nation’s flags around the football field. The day continued with crafts, activities and games from various cultures and a wonderful international lunch!Details
On October 15th, we were very honoured to have admission officers from four prestigious US universities; University of Colorado Boulder, University of Indiana, University of Missouri, and University of Oregon. Our students had the chance to know more about the US public universities from 4 different states. After the presentation, the format changed to a small college fair.Details
It’s hard to believe that we have reached the end of the first academic term – so much has happened.
As a school we have made significant progress towards meeting our goals for 2018-19. One of these aims was to improve the communications between the school and the community. To achieve this, we have already started to review our school web-site and our aim is to translate the information here into Chinese and Korean – particularly the information about our PYP, MYP and Diploma curricula.Details
