Last Saturday, 22nd October, we had our fifth annual International Day, community event to celebrate all the nationalities we have at Hanova. It was lovely to have so many parents join the event and our activities.
This year, we have set up a series of lectures and sessions entitled: “Parents in Partnership” and we are thrilled to report that this new initiative is going extremely well.
On Thursday 13th, we hosted Mr. Tom Ulmet, Executive Director of ACAMIS (The Association of China and Mongolia International Schools), who came to Hanova for the Site Visit required after we completed the application to become a member of ACAMIS.
PYP teachers and students at Hanova shared ‘Peace’ stories, books and thoughts to commemorate the International Day of Peace.
The student teams will start the regular trainings for our favorite sports, to prepare the future competitions and tournaments.
Our Primary school is pleased to announce that the 2016-2017 House Captains and their Deputies have been nominated.
We have made a fabulous start to the new academic year in Secondary School, bringing back several awards from last week’s MUN conference, organized in Shanghai by the prestigious Yale University.
On Monday, August 15th, our fifth year has started and it is great to be part of an international school continuing to grow and to increase its educational excellence.
Our fourth year has seen the school progress to become a top international school: last summer we received authorization to become a Cambridge school, this winter we became a UCAS and SAT center and a licensed center to offer the prestigious International Award.
On Wednesday 8th June Hanova held a very a special day in our PYP calendar. The Student-Led Conferences were a valuable form of reflection, discussing the learning process and also an opportunity for goal setting.
