Thursday this week we hosted an Upper Primary football team from XHIS school, the first in 2018 after the flash tournament organized on Saturday 10th was cancelled due to poor air quality.
Our Year 11 students had a fantastic trip to the Qingdao Amerasia International School (QAIS) in Qingdao last week.
Representatives of the Government and Management Committee of the Chan-Ba District have visited our school this week, on Thursday 8th. Hanova’s new campus will be located in the new Chan-Ba Ecological and International District of Xi’an.
March is Readathon month in Primary, where we encourage students to READ, READ , READ at home as much as possible. As it is Dr Suess’s birthday on March 2nd, PYP classes will celebrate this iconic author with dress up days next week and lots of fun literacy activities in class and in the Library.
Today we will break again to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival, the most important holiday in China. Today we all participated in the school activities before going on holiday.

We encourage all our students to keep reading and continue to visit our Library when possible. A number of amazing reading pictures are displayed on the library doors to show the enthusiasm in our school.
PYP classes are currently doing “Reading Buddies” sessions together every second Friday, where older classes read to younger classes or do a Literacy activity together. Year 1a and Year 4a have also extended this to “Maths Buddies”!
