The hunt is on! We need our parents and friends in the Hanova community to donate items for our early years students to use. Below is a list of the items you can help with:
On Friday, 29th October, many students enjoyed dressing up in a costume of choice for the day instead of wearing the school uniform. The various animals, super heroes and princesses filled the halls of Hanova.
Saturday, 16th October saw the Hanova Heroes kick off their PYP football season in great fashion with a visit to XLIS. The U8 team played a very close game with our hosts edging an end-to-end game with a 7-5 victory thanks to a goal from Bruce and a double hat-trick (6 goals) from Constantine.
In November 2020, Hanova’s Primary house competitions heated up with a “Tug-of-war” activity. All four of Hanova’s houses – Tang, Song, Qin and Han – participated against each other in an exciting and energetic battle for first place.
On Friday, 18th September, our PYP staff organised ‘Reading Buddies’ – a programme in which younger and older students are paired up for reading together throughout the school year. Reading Buddies helps build a community where students can read together and respect one another, regardless of age differences.
On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd November, Hanova hosted Stan Cullimore, an author for children and teenagers.
Last Friday, 28th October, we had our Halloween celebrations in school., with costumes, parades, activities and parties. Many thanks to all for sending food, showing enthusiasm with costumes, attending the assembly: your contributions are always important to our success and look in our web site for the upcoming photo gallery of the day.
