On Saturday 3rd December, Hanova hosted its Second Annual Christmas from 10:00am to 1:30pm! The day was full of great Christmas fun, lots of Christmas activities, games and crafts and an auditorium full of local vendors selling holiday baked goods, desserts, imported food and hand-crafted gifts.
On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd November, Hanova hosted Stan Cullimore, an author for children and teenagers.
Last Friday, 28th October, we had our Halloween celebrations in school., with costumes, parades, activities and parties. In September 2016, Hanova’s secondary students were introduced to three more universities: Washington & Jefferson College, University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, and the College of Wooster.

In September 2016, Hanova’s Primary students began their Reading Buddy sessions – which are designed to encourage reading, speaking & listening skills. The initial Buddy meetings focused on “getting to know you buddy activities” and sharing books.

On Friday, 3rd June, Hanova’s Secondary students proudly presented an original drama production – “Can You Hear Us? A Refugee Story.” The students acted out a dramatic collection of refugee stories from around the world.
