On Saturday, 10th June, the Hanova community hosted its annual Spring Carnival! The day began with Carnival games, crafts, face painting and some live music followed by an amazing lunch catered by several local hotels and also provided by our parents and staff. In the afternoon, our talented students participated in the “Hanova Talent Show!” We thank all of our students, teachers, staff, the Xi’an community and Xi’an’s local businesses for their outstanding contributions to this day. We are excited to announce that all of the proceeds (over 20,000 RMB!) were donated to a Xi’an local charity – the Yellow River Soup Kitchen.

Year 4 students have been learning about Water. One of our inquiry questions took us to a slightly different direction as students wanted to know if we can change solid straight into gas They found out that this process is called sublimation. Thanks to Ms. Shirley, they were able to see sublimation of iodine. We enjoy learning trough investigation and inquiry in Year 4!
