All that we do is in the best interest of our students’ future.
It’s only a week into the new semester but already our students are busy achieving new things.
What an incredible ending to an incredible first semester of 2018-19! So much has happened, I’m worrying that this newsletter may be too big!
Featured throughout this week’s newsletter are examples of our IB Diploma Visual Arts exhibition pieces that will take place later this year.
Our Christmas Market, Winter Concert and the five public performances across Xi’an.
Many congratulations to the Hanova students who competed – especially Katherine Chung and Pelin Kayacik who got through to the last 8 students in the quarter finals.
We are rightly proud of our students at Hanova and, over the next few weeks, they will be show-casing their skills and talents in a variety of events both here in school and outside in the wider community.
On the 31st October we again joined in the global community who celebrate the originally North American tradition of ‘Halloween’. Our students paraded in fantastic costumes and the Secondary school concluded the day with games in the auditorium.
First of all, I’d like to share a huge thank you to all our parents who supported and contributed to the International Day last Friday. This – the seventh such day in Hanova’s history – was a great event, this year involving all members of our school community.
On October 15th, we were very honoured to have admission officers from four prestigious US universities; University of Colorado Boulder, University of Indiana, University of Missouri, and University of Oregon. Our students had the chance to know more about the US public universities from 4 different states. After the presentation, the format changed to a small college fair.
