Established in 2012, Xi’an Hanova International School is a community-driven, not-for-profit school, actively supported by the regional government authorities and providing high quality education for the international community in Central and Western China.
Hanova is an IB Continuum School, fully authorized to offer the internationally renowned IB Primary Years Programme since 2017 (Early Years – Y6), IB Middle Years Programme since 2016 (Years 7-11) and IB Diploma Programme since 2014 (Y12 – Y13) – with 20 different Diploma subjects available to students.
We are also an authorized Cambridge School, a center for SAT and ACT testing and a licensed center for the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to develop youth leadership.
Committed to international-mindedness, Hanova embodies multi-cultural values, leadership and understanding in its international students and staff. The school is successfully growing and a second campus is due to open with the graduating classes of 2017- 2018.
Although the number of students is growing exponentially, Xi’an Hanova International School maintains an inclusive but strict admissions policy. All students are selected after passing admission exams and interviews, then language and pastoral support is available, and finally, to better meet any individual needs, all student class numbers are limited.
