The ‘Open Day’ and ‘Winter Concert’ event at Hanova rapidly approaches – Saturday, 11 December! The school gates open at 2.00pm – and all our existing parents and students are welcome to attend.

The Day of the Dead, or “Día de los Muertos” in Spanish, is a holiday that remembers loved ones that have passed away. The day of the dead is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, mostly in Mexico, but also nations where there is significant Mexican influence.
On Friday, 29th October, many students enjoyed dressing up in a costume of choice for the day instead of wearing the school uniform. The various animals, super heroes and princesses filled the halls of Hanova.
On Wednesday, 27th October, the Year 12 DP English B students shared part of their cultural identity by hosting a special lunch with invited teachers. An important part of English B class is that students study a selection of 5 topics that are required by IB.
In September, Biology Y13 students went on an Ecology field trip. During the last two years, they have been learning concepts and developing practical skills that help them to solve real-life problems.
Saturday, 16th October saw the Hanova Heroes kick off their PYP football season in great fashion with a visit to XLIS. The U8 team played a very close game with our hosts edging an end-to-end game with a 7-5 victory thanks to a goal from Bruce and a double hat-trick (6 goals) from Constantine.
On Friday, 15th October, the PYP students came to school wearing their house t-shirts. The sea of red, blue, yellow and green around the building always creates an atmosphere of excitement.
Part of our curriculum at Hanova is extra curricular activities (ECAs). This semester, teachers chose to run a specialised club designed to complement to an area of interest within the curriculum.
Since 2019, Hanova school has established a stable relationship with Chun Education Foundation. And we’ve donated 40,000 RMB to support the “Library Project” in rural areas in Shaanxi Province.
