There will be a University and College Fair at 3:00pm on this Saturday (5th November) afternoon with 17 universities from the United States of America.
Last Friday, 28th October, we had our Halloween celebrations in school., with costumes, parades, activities and parties. Last Saturday, 22nd October, we had our fifth annual International Day, community event to celebrate all the nationalities we have at Hanova. It was lovely to have so many parents join the event and our activities.
On Saturday, October 22nd, the Hanova community celebrated International Day 2016! The day was full of games, activities, crafts, delicious food and football matches that provided great entertainment for the all.
This year, we have set up a series of lectures and sessions entitled: “Parents in Partnership” and we are thrilled to report that this new initiative is going extremely well.
On Thursday 13th, we hosted Mr. Tom Ulmet, Executive Director of ACAMIS (The Association of China and Mongolia International Schools), who came to Hanova for the Site Visit required after we completed the application to become a member of ACAMIS.
In September 2016, Hanova’s secondary students were introduced to three more universities: Washington & Jefferson College, University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, and the College of Wooster.

In September 2016, Hanova’s Primary students began their Reading Buddy sessions – which are designed to encourage reading, speaking & listening skills. The initial Buddy meetings focused on “getting to know you buddy activities” and sharing books.
